Doro­thea Baltruks is Head of Rese­arch and Poli­cy at the Cent­re for Pla­ne­ta­ry Health Poli­cy (CPHP) in Ber­lin. She works on air pol­lu­ti­on poli­cy as well as sus­taina­bi­li­ty and cli­ma­te resi­li­ence in health poli­cy with a par­ti­cu­lar focus on phar­maceu­ti­cals. Befo­re she star­ted at CPHP, she work­ed as per­so­nal advi­ser for the health spo­kesper­son for the Green Par­ty in the Bava­ri­an sta­te par­lia­ment. After stu­dy­ing in Lon­don, Doro­thea work­ed for a health con­sul­tancy firm in the UK and led the “Age­ing and Care” port­fo­lio of the Euro­pean Social Net­work. The last four years in the UK, she led the rese­arch poli­cy, glo­bal and data ana­ly­sis port­fo­li­os at the Coun­cil of Deans of Health, which repres­ents the health facul­ties at the uni­ver­si­ties in the UK.
