Profile
Dorothea Baltruks is Head of Research and Policy at the Centre for Planetary Health Policy (CPHP) in Berlin. She works on air pollution policy as well as sustainability and climate resilience in health policy with a particular focus on pharmaceuticals. Before she started at CPHP, she worked as personal adviser for the health spokesperson for the Green Party in the Bavarian state parliament. After studying in London, Dorothea worked for a health consultancy firm in the UK and led the “Ageing and Care” portfolio of the European Social Network. The last four years in the UK, she led the research policy, global and data analysis portfolios at the Council of Deans of Health, which represents the health faculties at the universities in the UK.
