Pro­fi­le

Marie Jung has been working at the Cent­re for Pla­ne­ta­ry Health Poli­cy (CPHP) sin­ce Sep­tem­ber 2023 and has been a rese­arch asso­cia­te in the field of cross-sec­to­ral mea­su­res for pla­ne­ta­ry health sin­ce April 2025. Her focus is on air qua­li­ty and envi­ron­men­tal jus­ti­ce in natio­nal and Euro­pean con­texts.

Pre­vious­ly, she sup­port­ed various pro­jects, inclu­ding PHONIC and Air­He­alth, both con­tent-wise and orga­niza­tio­nal­ly as a stu­dent assistant. In her new role, she will mana­ge and coor­di­na­te the fol­low-up pro­ject, fun­ded by the Clean Air Fund, for the imple­men­ta­ti­on of the new air qua­li­ty direc­ti­ve in Ger­ma­ny – with a par­ti­cu­lar focus on pro­tec­ting vul­nerable groups.
