Profile
Marie Jung has been working at the Centre for Planetary Health Policy (CPHP) since September 2023 and has been a research associate in the field of cross-sectoral measures for planetary health since April 2025. Her focus is on air quality and environmental justice in national and European contexts.
Previously, she supported various projects, including PHONIC and AirHealth, both content-wise and organizationally as a student assistant. In her new role, she will manage and coordinate the follow-up project, funded by the Clean Air Fund, for the implementation of the new air quality directive in Germany – with a particular focus on protecting vulnerable groups.
