Ste­fan Kohl­wes works as an advi­sor for busi­ness deve­lo­p­ment and rese­arch fun­ding at the Cent­re for Pla­ne­ta­ry Health Poli­cy (CPHP). Befo­re joi­ning CPHP he led a pro­ject clus­ter at the Asso­cia­ti­on of Ger­man Cham­bers of Com­mer­ce and Indus­try, estab­li­shing bila­te­ral coope­ra­ti­ons and pro­jects for envi­ron­men­tal pro­tec­tion across more than 30 count­ries in col­la­bo­ra­ti­on with the Ger­man fede­ral Minis­try for the Envi­ron­ment and the net­work of Ger­man cham­bers of com­mer­ce abroad. The pro­jects were focu­sed on the cir­cu­lar eco­no­my, was­te and was­te­wa­ter manage­ment and decen­tra­li­zed power sup­p­ly through hydro­gen and fuel cell tech­no­lo­gies. Pri­or to this, Ste­fan work­ed as a pro­ject manage­ment con­sul­tant for GIZ in Anka­ra and Istan­bul.
