Lead | Office for Climate Change and Health | Robert Koch-Institute
Angelina Taylor leads the Office for Climate Change and Health at the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), where she works to bridge the gap between science, policy and practice in the field of public health. With more than twelve years of experience at this interface, she focuses on translating scientific evidence into action – for example, by contributing to national policy processes and strengthening intersectoral collaboration on climate change and health.
Before taking on her current role in 2022, she worked at the RKI on antimicrobial resistance, coordinating international collaborations and advising on strategic and policy issues. Earlier in her career in London, she was involved in local public health planning, contributed to a health think tank supporting policy and practice, and conducted research on improving national health services.
Angelina is also a member of several networks on climate change and health, including the Committee on Climate Change and Public Health of the International Association of National Public Health Institutes. She holds an MSc in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene & Tropical Medicine and a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of Edinburgh
